A huge crowd witnessed the concertina and accordeon contest Saturday evening. Mickey Horan received a special prize as the only concertina player. The accordeon prizes were awarded to Geo. Skad, first: Lester Handke, second: Robert Helm, third: john Sloduk, fourth.
Lucille Fohrman of Loyal is spending a week with her cousin, Algerno Breseman.
Mr and Mrs. Alvin Garber, daughter Laverne and Phillip Breseman were Sunday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Schlinsog.
Gladys Wage, Hazel Hanson and Miss Salter returned Saturday evening from their trip through the east.
Mr and Mrs. Chas. Guth and Miss Norma Schmoll returned home Saturday from a six weeks trip through the west.
The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nichol and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Reisner were baptized Sunday. The little fellows will hereafter be known as Donald Louis and Robert Allen respectively.
Fred De Karske and family on W. B. Breseman’s Sunday evening.
Frank Zimmerman and Mrs. Earl Zimmerman drove over from Humbird and spent Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. Alvin Garber.
Harry Bielke’s home was destroyed by fire last Tuesday afternoon. The origin of the fire is unknown. Mr. Bielke plans to erect a bungalow in the near future.
