Rogalski, Raymond R. (17 July 1917 - 29 Jan. 2005)

Raymond R. Rogalski, 87, of Thorp died Jan. 29, 2005, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, rural Withee.

Visitations will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Thorp Funeral Home with a combined Parish and Knight's of Columbus Rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Thorp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Raymond R. Rogalski

THORP -Raymond R. Rogalski, 87, of Thorp died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, rural Withee.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a 7:30 p.m. parish and Knights of Columbus Rosary service today at the Thorp Funeral Home.

He was born July 17, 1917, in rural Thorp to Martin and Victoria (Pempek) Rogalski. He married Lottie Burzynski on Nov. 5, 2960. She died May 29, 1984. He later married Vickie Luzinski on Dec. 18, 1990. He worked for the railroad and farmed in the town of Withee, where he also served as the town chairman for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Rogalski of Thorp; six stepchildren, Loretta Jarocki, Withee, Bernard (Darlene) Burzynski, Thorp, Brenda (Fred) Turenne, Thorp, Jerry (Ruth) Luzinski, South Milwaukee, David Luzinski, Phillips, and Rich Luzinski, Thorp; 24 step grandchildren and many step great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Caroline (Florian) Sniegowski, Withee, and Leona Latawiec, Batavia, Ill.
