Vanderwyst, Patricia Ann (4 March 1941 - 2 Feb. 2005)

PRENTICE -Patricia Ann Vanderwyst, 63, Prentice, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, at her home.

Funeral services will held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 7, 2005, at First Lutheran Church in Prentice with Rev. Matthew Lee officiating.

Interment will take place at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Zion American Lutheran Church Cemetery in Granton.

Friends May call after 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Heindl Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church, both in Prentice.

She was born March 4, 1941, in Rockwell City, Iowa, the daughter of Ray and Lola (Metcalfe) Kammerer. She then moved with her family to Kingston, Ill., and then to Granton. She married Norman Vanderwyst on May 15, 1965, in Granton. They made their home in Granton until 1984 when they moved to Prentice. She operated Mom's Daycare in Prentice for more than 15 years. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Prentice. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and camping.

She is survived by her husband, Norman; four children, Sandra Jolly, Davie, Fla., Cindy (Craig) Dering, Ogema, Larry, Wausau, and Terry, Cross City, Fla.; six grandchildren; her father and stepmother, Ray and Almira Kammerer, Marshfield; one sister, Linda (Otto "Algene") Schmidtke, Stratford; and one stepsister, Sandy Burkhart, Rochelle, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lola; one infant daughter, Tammy; and one sister, Wanda Gehelein.
