LOUISA KOPP

Mrs. Louisa Kopp, an old resident of the Township of Levis, died at her home in that Township on October 7, 1930, at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 5 days, after a lingering illness. She was born Louisa Schock, January 3, 1848, to Benjamin and Frances Schock, in Cincinnati, Ohio. When a small child she came with her parents to St. Charles, MN.

On March 3, 1867, she was united in marriage to Joseph Kopp. For eight years they followed farming in Elba Township, then moved to St. Charles where they went into the restaurant business. Later they moved to Clark County and settled on a farm in the Town of Levis, which remained her home until her death. Mr. Kopp died September 17, 1917.

She leaves to mourn her death three sons, Frank, Joseph and George. She leaves also seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and other relatives. Preceding her in death were her husband, Joseph, two daughters, Frances and Clara and one son, Fred.

The funeral was held at the home and the Reformed Church in Neillsville, Oct. 10, with Rev. Vornholt officiating.
