Ben Pierce has returned from Ogema where he has been working with his team in the woods.
H. B. Farnsworth, who was here from Minneapolis after a team of draft horses, purchased a team from Geo. Adams, of Alma Center, for $550. He intended to drive them to the city, but made other arrangements and shipped them Thursday.
Wm. Hardwick and daughter left the last of the week for a visit of a week or ten days at his old home at Independence, Iowa.
Mrs. C. A. Zimmermann has been having a visit from two brothers from Rockland. They returned home the last of the week.
John Bryner is planning g on remodeling the house on his farm this summer. He expects to build a new addition, raise part of his house and remodel it into a modern dwelling.
