HELEN BANDURA

Helen Bandura, age 74, of Tripoli, passed away Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at the Wausau Hospital.

She was born April 24, 1928 in Greenwood to the late Joseph and Gladys Krogness and was married to Walter Bandura on Aug. 8, 1951 in Tomahawk. Walter preceded her in death just one month ago.

Helen grew up in the Greenwood and Neillsville area, and moved to the Spirit Falls area in 1950. She enjoyed her grandchildren and family, cooking, canning, gardening, dancing, music and Nascar.

Helen is survived by two sons, Joe (Debbie) of Tomahawk and Stan of Wausau; two daughters, Karolyn Campo of Wausau and Theresa (Ken) Johnson of Ogema; four grandchildren; one sister Caroline (Frank) Veserat of Madison; one step-sister Jean (Carl) Kroeplin of Oshkosh; and five step-brothers Lloyd (Mattie) Helsten and Bobby (Audrey) Helsten of Spencer, Rollie (Bev) Russell of Wausau, Lynn (Marcie) Russell of Spencer and Larry Russell.

Preceding Helen in death, were her parents, husband and one brother.

Funeral services for Helen will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Jan. 22, at the Krueger & Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk, with the Rev. Dennis W. Pegorsch of Wausau, officiating. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery.
