Tom Andrus and Nick Theis left here for Glendive, Montana, the first of the week where they have adjoining claims. They will put up some buildings at once and expect to put in the winter holding down the homesteads.
Circuit court at Black River Falls this week has attracted numerous witnesses and others from this vicinity. One criminal case was disposed of, viz., Frank Williams plead guilty to larceny and sentenced to one year at Waupun. Jury cases were then called the first case was the divorce case of Gertie Klemish against Henry Klemish. The next case on the calendar is J. W. Lawrence vs. Henry Hanusa, suit instigated to recover commission on farm sale. It is expected this case will come on trail today.
