Conductor G. E. Stanley spent the last of the week and first of this with his family here. He informs us that they expect to go to housekeeping in Altoona the first of the month.
Geo. King and family returned Monday noon from their trip to Wallace, Idaho. They enjoyed a pleasant summer vacation, with their relatives. Forest fires were raging through that part of the state of Idaho, and since their departure part of the city of Wallace has been destroyed. As far as we have been able to learn, none of the former Humbird people now residents of Wallace, suffered directly by the fire.
