Mrs. J. H. Schumacher, who was operated on at a St. Paul hospital recently, is recovering nicely and was able to return home Thursday.

Geo. Field and family moved the fore part of the week from the Andras house into the McBride place which was vacated by Mac Gregor.

The auction of James Wilson's personal property drew a large crowd to town last Saturday afternoon. About all the property was disposed of. Geo. Iffland was the successful bidder on the traction engine. Mr. Wilson has relinquished his interest in the barn to its former owner, J. T. Smith
