Miss Orpha Crandell, of Bellingham, Wash., arrived Wednesday for a visit with her relatives in this vicinity.
Wilson Van Horn has been hauling lumber for the hew house which he is erecting on his farm in Garden Valley.
Henry Land and son Lewis went to Eau Claire Wednesday to see his son John, who is in the hospital ill with pneumonia.
Mrs. Chas. Phillips and children and Mrs. James Campbell went to Augusta Wednesday to see their father who is ill.
