James Peter Bertz was born 8-17-1899 and died 2-16-1970 was a farmer and livestock dealer near loyal, Wisconsin. He resided for a time in Spokeville.
He was married to Hedwig Bickler who died in 1953.
After Hedwig's death, he married Irene Shefshick (born 8-7-1922 and died 1970).
James and Irene had 3 children:
Mary Frances Bertz born 4-6-1956
James Allen Bertz born 8-5-1957
and Peter Bertz who died in infancy
