Evers, John (1871 - 30 Mar 1909)

John Evers died at the home of his father, two miles southeast of this village, Tuesday evening of consumption. He was born in Calumet county, this state, and was 38 years, 11 months and 29 days of age on the day of his death.

He leaves to mourn this early death, an aged father, four brothers, Will and Hans of town Mayville, Warren of Kiel and, Sheldon, of Manitowoc and two sisters, Mrs. Geo. Krakenberger of this village and Mrs. Oelhrff of Kiel, Wis.

The funeral will be held this afternoon from the Little White church, Rev. Marks will officiate. John was well and favorably known and will be missed by a large circle of friends with whom the HERALD joins in extended sympathy to the bereaved family.
