Stowell, Mattie (1865 -21 Oct. 1932)

Word is received here that Mrs. Mattie Stowell died in St. Paul Oct. 21, at the home of her daughter, Ethel. She was buried at Duluth beside Mr. Stowell who died some years ago. The Stowell s ran a restaurant in Neillsville many years ago and will be remembered by many old friends.

Mattie was 65 years old, born in Sweden in the 1930 census. In the Minnesota State Wide Death Index; Mrs. Stowell is listed as Mattie Catherine Stowell.] I have no relation to this family line.
