CLARION (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI) 09/21/1926 Lapp, Ella (1896 -
14 Sep 1926) Word was received
here last Saturday that Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Lapp's oldest
daughter, Ella, had died of lung fever Friday and would be buried
Monday from their Merrill home. Ella Lapp was born
in Dorchester, Clark County, Wis. Country a little more than 30
years ago and even after her parents moved to Merrill came here for
occasional visits and was welcomed by all who knew her. She had been
married twice, her little son by the first marriage will make his
home with his grandparents, while the little daughter by the second
marriage will go to live with her daddy. Ella's husband was in the
hospital at the time of her death, having lost an eye. Those from here
who motored over Monday for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Albert
Lapp, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lapp and Mrs. Peter Schumacher, Mr. and
Mrs. Thierbach started but car trouble made them abandon the trip.
Mr. Thierbach is Mrs. Rudolph Lapp's brother. The many
Dorchester friends sympathize with the Rudolph Lapp family in their
deep sorrow. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
