Hiebsch, Veronika (21 NOV 1851 - 10 NOV 1926)
Mrs. Vincent Hiebsch died at the home of her son, F. V. Hiebsch, Nov. 10th, 1926, of old age and was buried from the St. Louis Catholic Church, Rev. Paul Pitzenberger officiating and interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery south of town. Jose Pueschner, Frank Pueschner, Frank Ruprich of Westboro, Henry, Frank and William Beil acted as pallbearers.
Veronika Pueschner was born in Tyssa, Bohemia, Nov. 21, 1851, and she lacked 11 days of being 75 years old when she died.
She was married Nov. 21, 1873 at Tyssa to Vincent Hiebsch. Three children were born to them, Joe, deceased, and two living, Frank of this village, and Mrs. Anna Beil of Abbotsford.
The Hiebsch family immigrated to this country in 1893 and settled on their farm in Dorchester, Clark County, Wis. Country, where they resided until 1911, when they moved into the village in the home of their son, Frank, where Mr. Hiebsch died about six years ago. Mrs. Hiebsch continued to make her home with her son and family until her death.
She was a kindly lady, well beloved by those who knew her and will be missed by all Dorchester, for when she met you, she radiated friendliness and made you fell that life was really worth living after her greeting. Her gentle ways will be missed by her loved ones and they have the sincere, loving sympathy of all their Dorchester friends in this hour of sorrow. May the God who has called her home comfort the bereaved.
Our of town relatives and friends here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ruprich of Westboro, Mrs. Mary Boehm of Curtiss, Mrs. Alan Stimm of Medford, Sam Lewis and family of Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Le Claire, and George Le Claire of Cadott.
