CLARION (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI) 03/25/1927 Wilke, Wilhelmine
(28 May 1863 - 19 Mar 1927) Mrs. August Wilke,
who died at her farm home Northeast of the last Saturday afternoon,
was buried yesterday from the St. Peter's Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Rev. V. M. Keiper officiating. During the past
two years she has been a patient sufferer from dropsy and passed
away at the age of 63 years, 9 months and 21 days. Wilhelmine Bertha
Auguste Wilke was born in Boeck, Germany on May 28, 1863, where she
grew to womanhood and on Feb. 5, 1886, she was united in marriage
at Lemerow, Germany, to August F. Wilke, who preceded her in death
on March 15, 1923. The Wilke's moved to Dorchester, Clark Co.
country about 28 years ago and have resided here since. To this union ten
children were born, three deceased and seven living, to mourn her
departure. They are Herman, Otto, and Mrs. Paul Schultz, who live
in Dorchester country, Max and George, who are on the home farm,
and Richard and Bernard of Sheboygan. All of the children were
present for the funeral, those from out of town being Mr. and Mrs.
R. Wilke and children, and Mr. and Mrs. B. Wilke of Sheboygan, and
Mr. and Mrs. J. Asfeldt of Canada. The Clarion joins
with their many friends in tendering sincerest sympathy to the
