CLARION (Dorchester, Clark Co, WI) 05/14/1926 Voss, Mildred J.
(12 May 1926) Miss Mildred
Janette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gust C. Voss, was united in
marriage to Mr. Theodore H. Domer, son of Mr. and Mrs. William
Domer of Unity, and Miss Evelyn Beryl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
James C. Hansen, became the wife of Mr. Chris F. Kind of
Marshfield, Wednesday morning at Veefkind. The brides were
tastily attired in blue silk crepe and tan georgette with picture
hats, stockings, and slippers to match and carried arm bouquets of
pink and white roses. The grooms wore the conventional blue
suits. The double
marriage took place at 9 o'clock in the morning at Veefkind,
Rev. E. F. Eske, pastor of the Lutheran Church, reading the
ceremony. From there they went to the Davidson Studio at Marshfield
for pictures and then to the Blodgett for the wedding dinner.
Following the wedding dinner the two happy couples came to their
first parting of ways, as Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Domer left on an
extended trip through the southern part of the state and Mr. and
Mrs. C. F. Kind left for the northern part of the state for their
honeymoon trip. Miss Mildred is
the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Voss and is a graduate of the
Dodgeville High School class of '23. Since moving here
(Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.) the bride has been employed during
the summer months by A. W. Notbohm, realtor at Abbotsford. Miss
Mildred is well acquainted here and in the surrounding community,
and since coming here has made a host of friends. The groom is well
acquainted here also, having been employed last summer at the
Dorchester Cheese Factory south of the village. Last fall Mr. Domer
purchased a factory west of Curtiss and has been operating it
since. Miss Evelyn Beryl
is also the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hansen, residing on the
Aller farm south of the village. The bride is not so well
acquainted here, as her folks only moved here last fall. She has
been employed for the past two years at the Wood County Asylum. The
two brides are cousins. The groom is also
employed at the Wood County Asylum at Marshfield, and not very well
acquainted here. We join with our
readers in extending to the newly wedded couples congratulations
and well wishes. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
