Smital, Grace A. (18 Sep 1926)
Grace Anna Smital, daughter of Mr. B. Smital of Holway, and Mr. Willard Gordon Harry, formerly of Holway but now living at Elkhart, were united in marriage at the Evangelical parsonage last Saturday evening, Rev. F. P. Walter officiating. The bride's father and Ruth Ella, accompanied them here.
The bride was daintily attired in cream colored georgette with black velvet picture hat, light hose and black satin pomps. She carried a bouquet of pink roses.
After the ceremony they left for a honeymoon trip through the Dells and then to their new home at Elkhart. Mr. Smital and Ruth Ella returned to their home at Holway.
Grace Anna is the older of the two young daughters of Mr. Smital and as such has been the caretaker and companion in the home since the mother's death a few years ago, a sunbeam and joy to her dear ones who will miss her but joy in her happiness.
Mr. Harry's mother and her sons farmed in Holway country for a number of years and made many warm friends, but after the marriage of one son and then Willard decided to marry, they sold their farm and rejoined the father in Elkhart, where they are all employed and make their home near each other. Holway people will miss them all for fine people are an asset to any neighborhood and they leave an empty place none can fill when they go.
We wish for the new married couple all sorts of good things in life; May their joys be multiplied and their sorrows divided.
