Bauer, Estelle (Nov 1926)

(Taylor County Leader)

The wedding of Miss Estelle Bauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bauer, to Joseph Lamer Jr., son f Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lamer of Tomahawk, took place Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock in Holy Rosary Church, the rev. Fr. Rueter reading the service.

The bride's gown was of rosewood twilleen with which she wore a silver metallic hat. The bridal bouquet was a shower of carnations and roses.

The bridesmaid, Miss Amelia Bauer, sister of the bride, wore a gown of tan twilleen with hat of gold metallic. She also carried a bouquet of carnations and roses. Louis Bauer, uncle of the bride, was the best man. During the service the church choir of which the bride has been a member of many years, sang the nuptial mass.

The ceremony at the church was followed by a dinner at the home of the bride's parents to the relatives and a few intimate friends only.

During the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Lamer left for Wis. Rapids where they will spend a few days with relatives. They will make their home in Tomahawk.

The bride is one of the popular young ladies of this city and is widely known, having clerked at the Kostner store the past five and a half years.

Mr. Lamer, although somewhat of a stranger here, is highly spoken of and is the manager of the fox farm near Tomahawk where he has a new home awaiting his bride.

With their many friends we join in extending hearty congratulations.

Among the out of town guests at the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lamer, parents of the bridegroom, and their son Herman, of Tomahawk; Mr. and Mrs. George Berard of Wis. Rapids, Mrs. Berard is a sister of the bride; Mr. and Mrs. Dailey of Abbotsford, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bahr of Marshfield, sisters and brother-in-law of the bridegroom.
