Charles Robert Neitzel, 87, Unity, Wisconsin, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at Clark County Health Care Center, Owen. Funeral services were heald at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford. Burial was in St, Paul's Norwegian Lutheran Cemetery, Curtiss. The Rev. James Primley officiated.

Charles Robert Neitzel was born March 7, 1917, in the town of Holway, Taylor County, to Charles and Caroline Neitzel. He attended school in the town in the town of Holway. He married Ruth Gilbertson in 1939. He worked construction and was a mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Neitzel, Unity; his children, Robert Neitzel, Spencer, Beverly Utke, Owen, Ronald Neitzel, Unity, Sandra [Boyd] Plummer, Unity, and Rodney Neitzel, Wyoming; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Ernest Neitzel, Curtiss, Clifford Neitzel, Curtiss, Walter "Pete" Neitzel, Missouri, Mildred Hamm, Curtiss, Annie Hamus, Abbotsford, and Lilly Zahn, Wausau.
