The engagement of Melissa Reinart and Wayne Jakobi is announced by their parents.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Lee and Jill Reinart of Neillsville. She is a 1997 graduate of Neillsville High School and a 2002 graduate of Mid-State Technical College with an associate's degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse in surgery at Saint Joseph's Hospital.
Her fiance is the son of Duane and Elsie Jakobi of Chili. He is a 1991 graduate of Marshfield High School and a 2002 graduate of Mid-State Technical College with a degree as a programmer/analyst. He is employed as a data processor/programmer for Wood County Telephone Co.
A May 7, 2005, wedding is planned.
