BROCK, ALICE, 85, of Louisville, died Tuesday, January 11, 2005, at Norton Hospital.

She was the former Alice Louise Boxrucker, a native Dorchester, WI, and a member of St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church. In recognition of two decades of volunteer service with the Senior House, the St. Anthony Soup Kitchen and other community organizations, she was invited to the 1997 presidential inauguration and was commended by the Jefferson Fiscal Court in 1995.

She is survived by her son, Robert P. Brock; daughters, Betty Sue Prising and Denise Taylor; grandchildren, Michael and Cynthia Prising, Susan Fargo, Steven and Angela Brock, Tiffany Sims and Jesse, Benjamin and Matthew Taylor; and five great-grand-children, with a sixth to be born in April.

Cremation was chosen. A memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2005, at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 S. 6th St., with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Dorchester.
