NORTH BEAVER
The Northwestern Insurance Co. is erecting a new house on what used to be the Joe Morrow farm on county Trunk K in the place of the one that burned to the ground a year ago. (Transcriber's note: There is a J. W. Morrow farm shown on the 1920 plat map on the SW corner of K Corner in Section 9 of the Town of Beaver.)
Charley Riber, John Stokes, and Walter Seefluth helped Wm. Schultz butcher hogs Wednesday.
Mrs. Joe Schultz sawed wood on Thursday.
Wm. Stammer and son Oliver were callers at Walter Seefluths one day last week, and Wm. Stammer also called on Herman Thiel.
George Roohr is a patient at the Marshfield Hospital.
BEAVER
Brandts were Neillsville and Marshfield callers Monday.
Alex Mrotek sawed wood this week.
The Bunco Club met with Mrs. Fred Fravert Tuesday afternoon. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Blanche Schmidt, first; Mrs. Geo. Otto, second; Mrs. R. F. Gotter, low. Door prize went to Mrs. Elmer Zimmerman.
Blaine Schwieso has been employed at Alex Mroteks for some time.
Mrs. Baltz Hoesley received the sad news Saturday of the death of her nephew which occurred early Friday A.M. caused through a train and car crash near Chili.
BEAVER CENTER SCHOOL
Clifford Bloom, Opal Henrickson and Virgean Plaman have reported on twelve books.
We sang the birthday song for Harold Herdrich at the close of our literary meeting, Friday, Nov. 19.
