Gilson, Harold T. (11 Feb 1886 - 14 Feb 1962)
Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. - Funeral services for Harold T. Gilson, 76, route 2, Neillsville, found dead in his cottage on the Black River Wednesday, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church at Warrens, Wis., with the Rev. Robert Horn of Warrens, officiating. Burial will take place in the Warrens Cemetery.
The body was removed today from the Georgas Funeral Home here to the White Funeral Home in Tomah.
Mr. Gilson was born Feb. 11, 1886, at Warrens and was educated there. He worked at Warrens and in Minneapolis, Minn., as a motorman on street cars. He retired and came to live with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Heimstead in 1951. He spent much of his time at a cottage in the Dells Dam area. His marriage to the former Grace Wildes took place on Oct. 29, 1911, at Warrens. She preceded him in death in 1939.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Clair (Marguiett) Flint, Madison; Mrs. Morris (Bunita) Carter, Eau Claire; and Mrs. L. P. (Mary) Heimstead, Neillsville; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
