CAROL MATHESON WINN

Carol Matheson Winn, age 91, of Neillsville, died Oct. 19, 2002 at her home.

Carol was born in Neillsville on July 4, 1911, to the late Arnie and Vera (Haggie) Matheson.

She graduated from Neillsville High School and was active with the cheerleading squad and also was captain of the basketball team. She loved cats, reading, watching old movies, and crocheting.

Surviving are her sons, Gale (Susie) Gall, of Neillsville: Melvin (Pat) Gall, of Merrillan, Mike (Jacgui) Hopkins, of Congress, AZ and Bruce (Marsha) Hopkins, Olympia, WA, six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one step great-grandson. Preceding Carol in death is a brother, Arnie Matheson, Jr.

Private funeral services were held.

The family would like to thank Saint Joseph's Hospice and Ministry Home Care for their excellent care.

Wisconsin Cremation services, Eau Claire, served the family.
