Gertrude Mary Hemp, age 92, died April 4, 2002, ending a life of dignity and grace.
Gertrude was born March 9, 1920, the daughter of Charles and Else (Wood) Seif in Centralia, WA but was raised in Neillsville.
Gertrude resided most of her life in Mosinee. She earned her B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point at the age of 52.
Surviving Gertrude are her three children, Mary (Richard) Bartz, Dorothy (Jansseen) Wheeler and Richard (Joann) Hemp; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Rev. James Gordon officiated at graveside services, which were held April 8 at the Neillsville City Cemetery.
