Bremer, Clara (27 MAY 1883 - 31 Dec 1960)
Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. - Funeral services were held this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Georgas Funeral Home in Neillsville for Mrs. Clara Bremer, 77, Glenwood City, mother of Clarence Bremer, Neillsville, who died Friday at the Glenhaven Nursing home at Glenwood City.
The Rev. Ben Stucki of Neillsville officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery.
The former Clara Barnett was born May 27, 1883, at Concord, Kans. And came to Clark County at the age of 7 years. She was educated here, and was married in Clark County in 1901, to Frederick Bremer. They farmed in the town of Weston until the death of her husband in 1922, and then moved to Neillsville. She left here in 1952 to make her home with her children.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Earl (Hazel) Schultz, St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Wayne (Marion) Bush, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Zilma Mouw, Glenwood City; and two sons, Howard, St. Paul, Minn.; and Clarence, Neillsville; two sisters, Mrs. Abbie Nord, who lives in California; and Mrs. Etta Cord of Illinois; one brother, Warren Barnett, Greenwood; 22 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Mabel, four sisters and one brother.
