Johnson, Loren E. (27 June 1947 - 16 March 2005)
COLBY, WIS. - Loren E. Johnson, 57, of Colby died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Colby. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Loren was born June 27, 1947, in Marshfield to Forrest and Genevieve (Meissner) Johnson. Loren and Sherry Baker were married on March 12, 1976, in Watertown, S.D. He worked in Minneapolis until 1974, when he returned to Colby. Loren, his father and brother, Mike, then bought a car dealership in Colby and named it Johnsons Garage. They built at their present location in 1994.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry of Colby; his daughter, Randee of Milwaukee; his son, Chad of Corcoran, Minn.; his brother, Michael (Sheryl) Johnson of Colby; and his sisters, Sandy (Jeff) Small of Port Orchard, Wash., and Tami Johnson of Madison.
