Neillsville--Arvid "Bob" Boyer, 84, Neillsville, died July 1, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Buchanan Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Neillsville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 am until service time Monday at the funeral home.

He was born May 21, 1920, in Neillsville. He married Donna Jean Spencer on Aug. 16, 1947, in Neillsville. She preceded him in death on Nov 29, 2001. He had worled for 33 years at Nelson Muffler.

He is survived by two sons, Larry (Sue) Boyer and Bruce (Betty) Boyer, both of Neillsville; three daughters, Brenda (Ivan) Ruzic, Willard, Shari (Jerome) Ryba, Curtiss, and Kari (Ronald) Waltemat, Neillsville; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Marvin (Ruth) Boyer and Chuck (Bernice) Boyer, all of Neillsville, and Earl Boyer, Boston, Mass; and two sisters, Neva Howard, Marshfield, and Jean Bedell, ST. Paul, Minn.
