Dorchester Reporter (Dorchester, Clark Co., Wis.) 01/04/1900 Lindner, August
(15 NOV 1868 - 28 Dec 1900) The deceased was
born in Germany, Nov. 15th, 1868. The most of his boyhood was spent
in his native country and at the age of 14 he emigrated to this
country making his residence at Colby, Wis. In 1892 (October
2) he was married to Miss Mary Plaetzke (or Ploetzke) at Plymouth,
Wis. They took up their residence at Colby, Wis., about two years
ago moving here. He leaves a wife and three children: Henry, Gerald
and Teresa. The funeral
services were held at the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church.
The remains were interred in the Evangelical Cemetery here. His
family are at present staying at the home of Charles Lindner at
Colby, Wis. (NOTE: Sheboygan
