Beyreis, Martha (13 Feb 1875 - 3 JUN 1901)

Died, Mrs. Ed Beyreis, aged 25, June 3rd, 1901, of Consumption. She was formerly Martha Denzen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Denzen.

The funeral services were held Wednesday morning at St. Peter Church, Rev. W. Georgi officiating.

She leaves a husband and three children, Anna, aged 5, Katie, aged 3, Ernest, aged 2, to mourn her loss.

Mrs. Beyreis, nee Martha Denzen, was born in Prussia on Feb. 13th, 1875, and at the age of four she accompanied her parents when they immigrated to the United States. The family resided in Milwaukee for a year or so after coming to this country, after which they moved up here (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.). She lived on a farm seven miles southeast of Dorchester up to 1895 when she was married.

For the last four years Mr. and Mrs. Ed Beyreis have been living in Montana until they returned early in April. They purchased 160 acres of land near Bushman, and made their home on the place only a week when Mrs. Beyreis died. She has been ill since February.

The Reporter extends its heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved.
