DORCHESTER REPORTER (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI) 06/07/1901 Buechner, Frank X.
(27 Sep 1827 - 1 JUN 1901) Died, Frank Xavier
Buechner, on Saturday, June 1st, 1901, at the age of 73 years, 8
mo. And 4 days. The obsequies of
the Frank Xavier Buechner who died at the home of his stepson,
Wolfgang Sebold, were conducted by the pastor of the St. Louis
Congregations, the Rev. Aug. Birsner, Monday, June 3rd, at 10 a.m.
The deceased lingered for some time from a disease located in the
respiratory organs, and, therefore, his death could be easily
foreseen. His first wife preceded him into the grave some years
ago. His second wife, Anna Mary, survives him, as well as both his
stepsons, Wolfgang and Frank Sebold, both of whom live in this
community. The deceased was one of the earliest settlers of this
locality and found in his declining years a hospitable home on the
farm of his stepson, Wolfgang Sebold. Thus the early settlers are
leaving us one by one reminding us of the indisputable fact that
the world is continually changing and that we have no lasting
habitation here. May the deceased rest in peace. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
