Buker, Mary Ann (8 March 1911 - 18 March 2005)
NEILLSVILLE -Mary Ann Buker, 94, of Neillsville died Friday, March 18, 2005, at the Memorial Nursing Home in Neillsville.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Greenwood City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Monday at the church.
Gesche Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
She was born March 8, 1911, in Bessemer, Ala., the daughter of Henry C. and Margaret B. (P'Pool) Rogillio. She was united in marriage to Orlando "Rug" Buker on Aug. 16, 1932, in Rhinelander. They owned and operated a Coast-to-Coast Hardware Store in Greenwood from 1938 to 1942. Rug died in 1942 and Mary Ann continued to run the business by herself until 1949. Mary Ann had various factory jobs until 1958 when she began working at the Neillsville Memorial Hospital, working there until her retirement.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Smith of Neillsville; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by a half-brother, Henry (Paula) Rogillio of Metairie, La., and two half-sisters, Frances (Jimmy) Hale of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Janice (Theo) Tillman of Monroe, La.
