Dehne, Elmore (5 May 1914 - 5 Jan. 2055)

Elmore Dehne of Neillsville, formerly of St. Germain, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, at Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville. He was 89.

Mr. Dehne was born May 5, 1914, in Cleveland, Wis.

A retired salesman for Standard Oil in Indiana, he moved to St. Germain in 1976 and resided there until recently.

He worked for six summers at Camp's SuperValu in St. Germain and was a member of Community United Church of Christ in St. Germain.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie in 1996, and a sister, Gertrude Masiecz, in 2003.

Survivors include three brothers, Ray (Jackie) of San Diego, Calif., Paul (Sue) of Paso Robles, Calif., and Arnold (Alice) of Greenwood.

He is further survived by nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Jan. 8 at Community United Church of Christ in St. Germain. The Rev. Joel Huenemann officiated.

Burial was in St. Germain Cemetery.
