Born March 23, 1915, in Neillsville, Wis., she came here from Phoenix, Ariz., in 2001. She was an executive secretary.

LAKELAND -- Mrs. Ruth Nourse of Lakeland died of heart failure Friday (Jun 11, 2004) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 89.

Born March 23, 1915, in Neillsville, Wis., she came here from Phoenix, Ariz., in 2001. She was an executive secretary.

Mrs. Nourse was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Nourse. She is survived by her daughter, Sasha Wagner, Lakeland; son, Bruce Nourse, Ann Arbor, Mich.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Northside Chapel.
