Trimberger, Michael L. (22 May 1913 - 5 Feb. 2005)

Michael L. Trimberger, 91, of Appleton passed away blessed and peacefully on Saturday February 5, 2005, at his home following a short illness. He was born on May 22, 1913, in Neillsville, Wisconsin, to the late George and Margaret (Mershberger) Trimberger. On June 18, 1940, he married Marcella "Sally" Kolbe and they shared 64 wonderful years. Mike was the owner and operator of Mike's Friendly Service in New Holstein for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, Sally; his children, Paul (Judy) Trimberger of Green Bay, Rosemary (Jack) Lasche of Boston, MA, Ron (Carol) Trimberger of Door County, Peter (Charlene) Trimberger of Grafton, Joanne Atkinson of Eau Claire; his sisters, Sister Ann Marie Trimberger of Milwaukee, Sister Christine Trimberger of Milwaukee, Mary Kopeck of Nevada. He is further survived by 16 wonderful grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Michael J. Trimberger; son-in-law, Phillip Atkinson; and brothers, George Trimberger and John Trimberger.

Services for Mr. Trimberger will be held Monday, February 7, 2005, at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton, with Father Larry Abler and Father Marty Fox concelebrating. Friends May call at the church from 1 until 2 p.m.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered as a caring husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
