Snyder, Price (29 July 1886 - 8 March 1933)

Price Snyder, a resident of this locality all his life, passed away at Neillsville Hospital March 8, aged 46 years, 7 months and 6 days.

Deceased was born Neillsville, July 29, 1886, the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Snyder, deceased. He grew up here and followed odd jobs. He was generous and kindly soul, willing to help others in distress.

A few years ago his health began to fail. Last year he went up into the town of Weston and built a shack in a pine grove, hoping to regain his health, kind neighbors helping to care for him, but a last he got too weak to be left alone and was taken to the hospital about 10 days before he died.

He never married. One sister, Stella is believed to be living, but her present residence is not known to friends here.

The funeral was held at Schiller's Funeral Home Friday, Rev. Longenecker officiating. Burial took place in Neillsville Cemetery.
