Retta, Emma (Marriage - *4 June 1933)* Could be off

A quiet wedding took place when Miss Emma Retta, daughter of Carl Retta of York, became the bride of Edward Garbisch of Grant, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Garbisch, at the Zion Ev. Lutheran Church of Granton at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. H. Laesch.

The bride wore an ankle length gown of pale pink sand crepe, with an embroidered net veil and white shoes. The bride wore a necklace gift from the groom. The bridesmaid, being Miss Gertrude Garbisch, cousin of the groom, wore a pale green dress of silk crepe. The bride carried an arm bouquet of pink and white carnations and stock. Sam Schroeder served as best man. Both men wore dark business suits.

A reception took place at the home of the bride at 5 o'clock. Twelve guests were present. Rooms were decorated in pink and green.
