Epps, Martha Scott (Marriage - 21 June 1933)
Mr. Murray Benedict and Miss Martha Scott Epps were married June 21, at Easthampton, Mass.
Mr. Benedict is well known here, being the son of Mrs. Julius Benedict. He graduated from Neillsville high school, the university of Wisconsin, and later took post graduate courses in Harvard. After a fine record as an instructor in Agricultural Economics in the State College of South Dakota and at Harvard, he was appointed to a professorship in the University of California at Berkely.
The bride received her early education in Minnesota, but for six years past has been connected with the research department at Yale and Harvard, for the last three years at the latter University.
They arrived here Friday and visited at the home of Mr. Benedict’s mother until Tuesday.
Monday Mr. Benedict was a guest at Kiwanis club and gave a very interesting talk on present economic problems and their possible solution.
