The community was grieved on Saturday, Nov. 24, when the word came that Mrs. Fred Church had passed away at Wausau following an operation. She reached the age of 43 years and 14 days.

Iva Margaret Putman was born in Merrillan, Wis., Nov. 10, 1885. In the year 1901 she came to Loyal, which has been her home since that time. She was married to Fred Church.............1906. Two daughters were born to this union, Margaret and ....... .......... with the husband survives. She is also survived by her mother ................ of Rock?........... ?Two sisters, Mrs. Ray Anderson of ............, Mrs. ......ford Bea of ....... and one brother, Earl ?Putman of Rockford, Ill. Her father and one brother preceded her in death a number of years ago.

During the many years that she has been a resident of our home community she has had the love and esteem of every one. She had a cheery disposition and was devoted to her home circle and as a loving wife and mother gave unsparingly of her time for their happiness. Their comfort was foremost in the ambitions of her life work. As a friend and neighbor she took a kindly interest in their welfare.

The funeral services, which was largely attended was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the local Methodist Church, Rec. W. J. James, assistant and Rev. Wadding officiating.

Beautiful and numerous floral pieces expressed the love and esteem in which the departed one was held. As a mark of respect every business place closed during the services.

She was laid to rest in the beautiful Pine Grove Cemetery.

A poem was printed at the end of the obit and is not complete (cut off)
