Jacobson, Janet Joyce COTTAGE GROVE/ STOUGHTON - Janet Joyce Jacobson, age 67, passed away peacefully with family by her side at Stoughton Hospital on Wednesday, July 7, 2004. She was born on July 10, 1936, in Withee, a daughter of the late Douglas and Ruth (Whittimore) Blum.

Janet enjoyed arts and crafts. She has won several awards for her many homemade pies, jams and quilts she entered in fairs and contests. She liked family gatherings, being with people and her cat, Angel. She farmed in the Cottage Grove area until retirement.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne R. Jacobson; her children, Bruce (Nancy), Gary (Felicia), Donn (Laura), Suzanne Lund, Barb (Jon) Grefsheim, Carol (Kevin) Weisensel, Brian (Lisa), Laurie (Richard) Jacobson, Randy (Eva), Mark (Mary) and Lisa (William) Parker, 25 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Darlene Blum; and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Blum.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Douglas Blum Jr.; and a granddaughter, Anna Marie Jacobson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 12, 2004, at WEST KOSHKONONG LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1911 Koshkonong Road. The Rev. Richard Dowling will officiate.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
