Unity has been named as the site to house the new Anhydrous Ammonia Fertilizer Storage Plant being built by Midland Co-op, Incorporated, Minneapolis. Construction is scheduled to begin shortly.

Stephen Zillmer, manager of the Harmony Co-op in Colby, said the plant will be owned and controlled by Midland and will serve nine area cooperatives.

Midland will build the plant on land leased from Harmony Co-op.

It will hire one full time employee when the plant opens this spring. Zillmer said other part-time workers will be added as the need arises.
