DORCHESTER REPORTER (Dorchester, Clark Co, WI) 09/26/1902 La Bossier,
Josephine (24 Sep 1902) A very quiet
wedding took place Wednesday forenoon at the Catholic parsonage
when Mr. Edwin R. Bereiter and Miss Josephine La Bossier were
united in the bonds of wedlock by the Rev. Father Birsner. The
wedding party consisted only of the immediate relatives of the
contracting parties and after the marriage ceremony at the
parsonage the party repaired to the bride’s home where a
sumptuous wedding dinner was served. After the feast the couple was
escorted to the depot by their friends and amid many
congratulations and goodbyes boarded the train for a few weeks
wedding trip among the cities of southern Wisconsin, after which
they will return for a month and then proceed to the state of
Washington where Mr. Bereiter has accepted a position with the
Covington Lumber Co., and where they expect to make their future
home. The bride who is
the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. La Bossier, has lived in
this city all her life and has many friends with whom she is very
popular. The groom has made this place his home for the past six
years until he engaged in business at Abbotsford and is well liked
by all who knew him. May joy, happiness
and prosperity ever attend them is the wish of their large circle
of friends. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
