DORCHESTER REPORTER (Dorchester, Clark Co, WI) 09/26/1902 Herman, Lucy (24
SEP 1902) Mr. Paul Gehring
were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s parents
Wednesday afternoon at 4 o’clock. The ceremony was performed
by the Rev. E. Herrmann and was witnessed by a number of relatives
and friends. Invitations were distributed throughout the village
(Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.) and the dinner, dance and midnight
supper were commendable features of the event. The bride was born
in Fieldon, Ill., but has lived here several years and won many
friends. She was beautifully dressed in pearl gray timed in white
silk and appliqué. The groom, a
native of Osborn, Wis., has been here for the past four years
working at his trade, that of blacksmith and wagon maker, and has
won the esteem of all who knew him. The couple was
attended by the Misses Marion Herman and Clarice Lemieux and
Messrs. Nic Gehring and Arthur Herman. They will go to
Minneapolis for a few weeks and when they return will be at home to
all. We join their many friends in wishing them much happiness and
a smooth sea. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
