Rueth, Tracey (7 March 1957 - 24 March 2005)

NEILLSVILLE -Tracey Rueth, 48, of Neillsville died Thursday, March 24, 2005, after she lost control of the motorcycle she was driving on her way to visit Death Valley, Calif., with her husband.

A memorial service for Tracey will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2005, at the United Church of Christ. Pastor James Mohr will officiate. Music will be provided by Eileen Zank, organist, Corrine Armitage, soloist and Tim and Jodi Rueth, vocalists. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, April 15, at Gesche Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. to service time April 16 at the church. Honorary casket bearers are her sisters, Shelley, Valerie, Margie and Janet.

Donations May be made to Tracey's family for a college fund to be set up in her grandchildren's name.

Tracey Meredith was born March 7, 1957, in Neillsville, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Lou (Hagie) Meredith. She attended Neillsville schools and graduated from Neillsville High School in 1975. After graduation, she attended school in Eau Claire and earned an associate degree in 1977. She was united in marriage to Paul Simenson; they later divorced. She then married Herman Seebandt; they later divorced and on Feb. 17, 2001, she married Andy Rueth in Sturgeon Bay. Tracey has worked the past 25 years for the School District of Neillsville as the financial secretary for the Neillsville School Board.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ and their Hand Bell Choir. She was a member of the Neillsville Optimist Club, ABATE of Wisconsin and HOG (Harley Owner's Group).

Tracey enjoyed life to its fullest, and especially enjoyed time with her daughters, her granddaughter, Torrey, and riding her Harley.

She is survived by her husband, Andy Rueth; two daughters, Clarice (David) Seebandt-Hughes of Wausau and Elice (John) Giese of Marshfield; two stepchildren, Natasha Rueth of Minneapolis and Shawn Rueth of Eau Claire; one granddaughter, Torrey Foemmel; her mother, Mary Lou Meredith of Eau Claire; and four sisters, Shelley Yenter of Port Aranzas, Texas, Valerie (Randy) Eiden of Marshfield, Margie Volbrecht of Eau Claire and Janet Meredith of Eau Claire. Tracey also is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
