Potocnik, Tony (26 July 1909 - 7 April 2005)

OWEN -Tony Potocnik, 95, of the town of Holway, Taylor County, Owen, died Thursday, April 7, 2005, at Saint Joseph's Hospital Palliative Care Unit in Marshfield.

Private family services will be held Saturday at St. Mary Cemetery in the town of Holway. Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Tony was born July 26, 1909, in Ralph, S.D., to Joseph and Anna (Kaprivnator) Potocnik. His first marriage to Berniece Weimer ended in divorce. His second marriage was to Judy Calaway, who preceded him in death. He worked as a welder for Western Condensing Co., later know as Foremost, in Owen until 1973.

Tony is survived by his sons, Delmar Potocnik, Milwaukee, and Burton (Linda) Jay, Orlando, Fla.; one grandchild; and two brothers, William Potocnik, Owen, and Edward Potocnik, Withee.
