MEDFORD
Donald C. Rinehart, 83, Owen, died Monday, April 11, 2005, at the Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Medford.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee.

OWEN - Donald C. Rinehart, 83, of Owen died Monday, April 11, 2005, at the Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Medford.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee with full military rites by the Van Huizen Fritz American Legion Post No. 123.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Maurina Funeral Home in Owen and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church in Withee.
He was born Aug. 3, 1921, in Wausau to Thomas and Freida (Fiebke) Rinehart. He entered the U.S. Army on July 16, 1942, serving with the 95th Division until his honorable discharge in 1946. He married Joyce Fischer on June 21, 1947, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Medford. The couple owned and operated Rinehart Jewelry and Hobby Shop in Owen since 1951. He also was employed as a truck driver for Foremost Foods in Owen for 21 years.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Rinehart of Owen; five children, Patricia (Norman) Thieme, Withee, Delores (Glen Sr.) Turner, New Glarus, Warren (Wanda) Rinehart, Terra Alta, W. Va., Douglas (Diane) Rinehart, Spring Lake Park, Minn., and Dennis (Renae) Rinehart, Ramsey, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; a brother, Fred (Leone) Rinehart, Centerville, Wash.; and three sisters, Nellie Reed, Merrill, Doris (Kenneth) Bartlet, Rib Lake, and Margaret Gowey, Montello.
