Virch, who passed away at a hospital at Marinette on April 8th,
1928, was brought to Curtiss, Clark County, Wis. Where funeral
services were held on the afternoon of Thursday, April 12th from
the Congregational Church, Rev. Powell of Owen officiating, and
interment was made in the Pine Hill Cemetery. Mr. Virch was
reared at Curtiss and on Nov. 26, 1913 was united in marriage to
Miss Amanda Schultz of Dorchester Country, and was 40 years, 1
month and 19 days old at time of death. Shortly after his marriage
they moved to St. Paul, Minn., where hew as employed by the
Minnesota Transfer Co. Three years later they moved to Spaulding,
Mich., where he operated a cheese factory and later moved to
Harmony Corners, Peshtigo, Wis. Where he operated the Harmony
Telephone Exchange and conducted a blacksmith and repair shop. Mr. Virch’s
parents died about five years ago and a sister about six years ago.
He is survived by his wife, three sons and four sisters. The Clarion joins
