OLE PETERSON, of section 35, Warner Township, Clark County, Wisconsin.
was horn in central Norway, July 14, 1836, the son of Peter Olson,
deceased, a native of the same country. Ole Peterson came to the United
States in 1873, settling in Greenwood, Wisconsin where he worked in the
woods two years, and during that time worked on a farm in the summers.
He settled on his present farm of forty acres in 1875, and has since
cleared the entire tract.
