Rueth, Tracey (7 MAR 1957 - 24 Mar 2005)

Tracey Rueth, 48, Neillsville, died Thursday, March 24, 2005, on her way to visit Death Valley, Calif., with her husband after she lost control of the motorcycle she was driving. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Friday, April 15. at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 16, at the United Church of Christ, Neillsville. The Rev. James Mohr will officiate. Music will be provided by Eileen Zank, organist, Corrine Armitage, soloist, and Tim and Jodi Rueth, vocalists. Burial will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be her sisters, Shelley, Valerie, Margie and Janet.

Tracey Meredith was born on March 7, 1957, in Neillsville, to Thomas and Mary Lou (nee Hagie) Meredith. She attended Neillsville Schools and graduated from Neillsville High School in 1975. After graduation, she attended school in Eau Claire and earned an associate's degree in 1977. She married Paul Simenson, and they later divorced. She then married Herman Seebandt, and they later divorced. On Feb. 17, 2001, she married Andy Rueth in Sturgeon Bay. She worked the past 25 years for the School District of Neillsville as financial secretary for the Neillsville School Board. She was a member of the United Church of Christ and their handbell choir. She was also a member of the Neillsville Optimist Club, ABATE of Wisconsin, and HOG (Harley owner's group). She enjoyed life to its fullest, and especially enjoyed time with her daughters, her granddaughter, Torrey, and riding her Harley.

Survivors include her husband, Andy; two daughters, Clarice (David) Seebandt-Hughs, Wausau, and Elice (John) Giese, Marshfield; two step-children, Natasha Rueth, Minneapolis, Minn., and Shawn Rueth, Eau Claire; one granddaughter, Torry Froemmel; her mother, Mary Lou Meredith, Eau Claire; four sisters, Shelley Yenter, Port Aransas, Texas, Valerie (Randy) Eiden, Marshfield, Margie Volbrecht, Eau Claire and Janet Meredith, Eau Claire; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Donations May be made to Tracy's family for a college fund to be set up in her grandchildren's names.

The Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
